A national epidemic of sedentary lifestyles, eating junk food, playing video games and watching mindless TV is leading to alarming health issues for children never seen in previous generations.

Being healthy - eating well, getting regular exercise and making good lifestyle choices - prepares the foundation for success now and later in life.  Studies prove that a healthy lifestyle makes your mind more alert.  You gain confidence and self-esteem - both essential traits for successful leaders.

HEALTHY HABITS is an upbeat and fun program that encourages kids and their immediate family members to eat healthier.  During the summer, we have weekly programs offered by OSU Nutrition Education that help achieve these goals.

TRIPLE PLAY is a program that aims to improve the overall health of Club members of all ages by increasing their daily physical activity, teaching them good nutrition and fitness habits and encouraging them to develop healthy relationships.

MANADOOB is a program to improve self-respect that allows members to work at their own pace.  The program provides curriculum opportunities in language arts, reading and vocabulary, social science, theater arts, research, experimental activities and community outreach.

PASSPORT TO MANHOOD represents a targeted effort to engage boys in discussions and activities that reinforce character, leadership and positive behavior. This program also includes a service project where the boys learn the importance of giving back to the community.
