Steve was born and raised in Greeley, Colorado, where he grew up hiking, skiing, mountain biking, and riding horses. After spending four years at CU Boulder (GO Buffs!) and a year in Germany (Prost!), he managed to emerge with a college degree. A glutton for punishment, he then moved to Portland to attend Law School at Lewis & Clark, where he earned a J.D. and a Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law. He has practiced at Jordan Ramis PC for 15 years, serving as the managing partner of the 70 person firm for 5 years. In 2013 Steve moved to Bend with his wife Lisa, son Jackson, and 3 pugs to open Jordan Ramis PC’s Central Oregon office. He practices in the firm’s Dirt Law practice group with an emphasis on solving water law and real estate challenges. Steve believes deeply in giving back to his community. He is a co-founder of 100 Men Who Care Central Oregon, serves on the High Desert Museum Board of Trustees, serves on the Central Oregon Builders Association Board of Directors, and volunteers in the Summit High School Futures Center.
